Time Setting And Time Period
Akira is set in a futuristic anime world within Neo-Tokyo. This story takes place about twenty five years after the Tokyo 2020 Olympics that Akira’s father, Toshio Akizuki ran for three gold medals during the 2020 Tokyo Triathlon.
He won two gold and one silver medal for time trial swimming events. The movie begins at 9:00 am on October 18th Sunday morning when someone places “The World of Akira” book on a display table in the underground passage of Tokyo’s Shibuya Station.
The book is left there by a person who scribbles something on the last blank page that says “To be continued,” and then leaves without writing anything else.
Akira is set twenty five years after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which would make it circa 2079-2089 A.D.

Storyline
The story line of Akira follows a group of young people who are trying to fight against an oppressive government. The city they live in is run by a tyrannical leader called Kei and his army of robots. Kaneda, one of the rebellion’s leaders, must do whatever it takes to stop Kei and his forces.
In Japan there is a superhero who does not have his left hand. His name includes Akira. The story behind discovering of him, the different people he has saved are all interesting things that you should know if you want to understand his character and how amazing person he was!
But unfortunately after some bad accident took place, we do NOT get to see what happened in earlier parts of the story line. And this is why I am writing an article on this review. So that we can have a better view on what Akira actually is, it’s background story and thought behind his relationships.
Because the story line didn’t evolve in the movie was a bit sad for me but I understand. But you should know about this great person who doesn’t exist anymore. I researched from many sources to find out everything that there is around him including details of movies based on real life scenarios which inspired by him!
They didn’t show much of the start and all he was going for a surgery. He then starts being called Arima! I am giving you five reasons why this movies lacks depth .This could also be known as an autobiography/ animation which is based on his life story.
No one else played in my opinion who people think that she is nozomu sasaki or Yui Mokuyou other than where little girls like me when we read manga.
All people got their life story at least you all know who little Bo Peep or Humpty Dumpty are which makes him different! I combined the pictures above and below to form one picture because Akira was Little Arima! This movie will be a great inspiration for kids with handicap as well. Specially someone who loves animes with this kind of characters like me.

The film involves some interesting facts and few popular characters from the anime but it fails to mention hardly any information about Arakawa really.
Saying that this movie does justice with Akira was his soulmate who he loves very much in what had happened between them for 7 years of their separation after Aria’s birth.
I’m not saying don’t see/watch as many movies or read books on what my dear friend Arima went through because he also suffered lots of pain and force as he was in hospital after the accident so I pity him a bit too when it came to save his dear one & making film etc but some unnecessary issues you see here.

At the end of March 2018, Arima Uehara was speculated by some media to be selected as best supporting actor for his role in “Sasho” at annual award ceremony 「Daicon Film Awards」.
However no official announcement has been made about it so far although there are many speculative reasons why he’s nominated more than once even though being just a young rising talent from Kyoto with only few works under belt out of which entitled “Arakawa-sensei’s “Akira”” which is still in pre-production phase.
