All About Of The Grand Budapest Hotel Storyline and Short Reviews
Plot of the Movie
The film starts with the sudden death of a chauffeur and no one is sure as to whom it might be. At least that is when our story opens and so, we follow the character of Zero Sumka while she investigates who was behind this action or otherwise fall into another nightmare since there are many murders and other odd things happening in her town. With every person having their own reason for doing these acts on each other, will everything get solved.
Plot Overview
The plot is that of a grandfather, who after his granddaughter reveals what happened to him, gives every effort and purpose in trying to solve the whole mystery. With each step he takes towards solving these puzzles; he continues on ironing out more clues for her with no one suspecting about it as well nor does anyone know anything apart from them. They form an odd relationship where nobody knows what’s going on because soon even.
The Climax of the Movie
The Grand Budapest Hotel is a movie based on the story of the Concierge Gustave H and his search for a new apartment in the building. The climax of the movie is when Gustave meets Zero (Jude Law) and tells him that he has been searching for a new apartment for the past four years. With that, the two decide to work together for the sake of Gustave.
At first, he is skeptical but then after meeting Zero everything becomes clearer and just a few hours later both of them are ready with an apartment as well other things which include a laundry maid named Agatha (Fionnula Flanagan) whom they employ at their new place to take care of all their needs. After this momentous occasion there comes another surprise or rather.
Cast and Characters
The cast consists of Academy Award-nominated actor Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter and Tony Revolori who plays the role of Zero Sumka.
The movie is directed by Wes Anderson in his usual style; where once again he has displayed an excellent performance through out all these wrinkles which everyone must watch for their own interest even though it does not have anything fantastic. The actors surely did a beautiful job with their part but as far as the casting of these characters, it is not too good as one can hear this cast lacking the important qualities that aids in making every single character look real.
Personally speaking, I would have welcomed Amber Heard or any other new talents for this acting job instead of what we got; just because at least her age doesn’t make a difference to the elderly lifestyle she portrays on screen which makes it easier for an actor to play such role.
Overall Review
It has to be noted that the performance of Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter and Tony Revolori are not up to the mark despite what their names say. The problem with all these actors is just one thing; no look or facial expression which makes it really difficult for us to expect people who aren’t so attractive but still able do play a part on screen. Frankly speaking, I felt sorry without any mannerisms which can help establish a connection or understanding on the part of an audience to respect a role.
This movie too has been directed in such way where there is always some point which has boundless significance and so you are dragged into these parts more than expected as well as having interest roaming around them but alas, it gets distracted by random things that entails every second detail of life with no depth; lets say like a chocolate factory following us totally unrelated to any other phenomenon.
Critics
“The Grand Budapest Hotel” is an adored film by many critics about director Wes Anderson’s tale. Critics agree that the writing does not emphasize on bringing out a real story and it will be given away quickly; “I don’t know how others feel but I find this tedious.”
Just as expected, few imply mood, setting or style where they all fail to live up to expectations. It has been noted by need of a better personality.
Ratings
“The Grand Budapest Hotel” received mixed reviews and has a rating of 77% on rottentomatoes.com, the same website that rated “Moonrise Kingdom”.
Basically this movie isn’t worth it to watch; lazy writing carries out in its haste which shows various scenes but hardly one scene is worth watching due to dull content. A 10+ eye-rolling moments will make your life miserable which can work as entertainment only if you have a really boring life.
The expressionless girl is that an excuse to see a film, wow work someone promoted movies by saying ” it doesn’t matter whether you love the movie or not because this typical weird alluring thing specially for women.” I’d say go watch it if you want some laughs and be disappointed with the outcome; sad everyone he can think that many people would love his next project so much no one could care what actually happens on screen.
