The thing with playing with toys like building blocks, then once you are done there isn’t much you can actually do other than take them apart to build something different. We have always played as a group for many years just about every day so it was only natural since the Lego movie focuses on teamwork when things go wrong it looked like the movie would center around that theme as well.
However, Emmet gets kidnapped by Bad Cop in a clear parallel to our own President at one time kidnapping another girl from an island he claimed was ours but ended up not being ours . My mother refused to let me eat my favorite foods for a long period of time and it affected all of us.
So “Bricksburg” is no longer yours until you create something unexpected , unexpected may not always be a positive outcome but It doesn’t have to be negative. What if I told you there were two main characters who are aliens and since they ‘lost’ their home planet “Bricksburg” is all that’s left for them or Emmet has in his backpack of bricks, why Hollywood loves sequels also became evident when Vitruvius says “It would make us do things we don’t want to do” which is an obvious reference to the first Minions movie.

Emmet’s team up with a bunch of strangers including a tough-talking pirate (Charlie Day) and an inventive young girl named Lucy (Kathryn Hahn), forming an unlikely alliance in their fight against Bad Cop.
Build up the great city of Bricksburg, made all the different shapes into buildings or play with your toys, it’s under attack by aliens but Emmet is lost on a deserted island and he must find his friends and allies to defeat Bad Cop.
