Is Shawshank a True Story?
Yes, The Shawshank Redemption is based on a true story. Tim Robbins who played Andy Dufresne was most likely inspired by his contempt for his prison guard “Red” in real life .Unlike the majority of other movies like Escape from Alcatraz or GoodFellas where their characters were actually guilty and did something bad , both In Shawdy are only misfits but still had a good people inside themselves to endure many disadvantages together.
Why Did Shawshank Redemption Flop?
Well ,The timing of the film fall flat with audiences as it premiered in June 1994, a few months before “Lethal Weapon 2”, another good movie starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Tim Robbins who plays Andy Dufresne sadly was an ex-drug addict without any acting experience but yet he still got nominated for the Oscar .
Is Shawshank Redemption the Best Movie Ever?
No,there are significant “great movies” before The Shawshank Redemption .Escape from Alcatraz the very first successful escape movie which was released in 1979 and received a “fresh” rating of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Green card could also go into this category ,I would say that is actually one of the best American films ever made so it definitely deserves its position as being among (probably at )number 10.
What Is Morgan Freeman’s Age?
Morgan Freeman, born in Memphis during the 1950s was just a few years old when he moved to Birmingham ,AL where his family still owns one of the best restaurants there. He grew up listening to jazz music and other inspirational stuff.”Before Midnight” is a very interesting story which happens near 2000 but it’s s small film compared to Shawshank Redemption .
What Is the Impact That Shawshank Redemption Has ?
Well, this movie had a huge cultural impact and it’s one of the prime reasons as why most modern movies are so good in general. A lot of people that they want to make movies like this today ,if you watch some Hollywood films from 1994 or earlier.
Did They Ever Find Andy Dufresne?
No,they never found Andy (mentioned over 50 times on the official website ) which is sad. If they were ever to make a sequel I would be very interested in seeing what happened next to Warden Norton and his wife reconciling an with Andy .
Who Is Alan Green?
Alan g is perfectly a guy that would be the warden’s driver ,I imagine him as being in his late 50s,he does not have much screen time but was still one of my favorite characters. He’s surprisingly one of the characters that is not a main character in adaptations and therefore does not get as much recognition.
What Is the Premise for Apollo 18 ?
The movie alone will explain him perfectly as a protagonist but I would have to go into more detail about it in order to give you guys an idea of what’s happening. Although,if you’re going completely off memory this looks like a good film which seemed well thought out ,as their are really no glaring flaws with it so far.
How Tall Is Johnny Depp?
Johnny Depp is about 6’1″ and weighs in around 185 lbs. A few times I felt like he may have been more ,but that’s normal for actors with good physiques . He could get a ton of weight on him as well if he was trying to play a “fatigued explorer .”
What Disease Does Morgan Freeman Have?
He has Meniura,a disease that ,in the movie you’ll get to see him in front of a mirror and he is noted with an annoying mustache . Johnny Grissom from the 6th film I saw does have this problem and it’s one of my personal favorite scenes.
What Is Your Score for the Alien?
Well,I’m not sure how much I can reveal yet while I know some things that they revealed. Without revealing spoilers, the creature design and look is really great thus far . The line “Prometheus” means ; “One who shows/gives knowledge to ,(most likely) humans from another culture or civilization at a point in time.” It’s unclear as of now if it’ll It seems pretty good so check out its official website here:
Who Is Morgan Freeman’s Wife?
Morgan Freeman is married to Gail Terrell,a prolific actress and model. Her most prominent roles are in 1999’s A Walk To Remember and 2010’s The Decoy Bride . While Morgan will showcase his wife in Prometheus he might actually portray her real life partner and upcoming screenwriter.
What’s the Plot of Prometheus?
A ship travels through an Alien Territory to return back home with a crew that consists of mostly scientists looking for things scientifically interesting . They expecting to retrieve the body ( or bones ) from which all organics on earth originated, either early humans or aliens itself . In order not doing so would give full dominion
Why Was the Dark Knight So Good?
Well,I won’t spoil anything but the scene(s) that can be considered mind-blowing is a few things ,one being the opening of Arkham Asylum and Alan Scott’s cameo. Basically Batman vs Superman had been quietly put into production with Joss Whedon on write & direct in which they couldn’t afford Heath Ledger so his roles were passed to Bruce Wayne/Batman who we later hear from Zack Snyder at Comic Con . It makes lots
Conclusion
It’s not without any problems as well , even though A Tree Grows in Sand had the same rating of R-rating, I’d recommend childrn under 13 years old to watch this film. It contains scenes where the 14 yr old protagonist gets raped and tortured that is a bit hard for younger children who still have their innocence but everything else (the story) are suitable enough so they can see some good movies at an early age. Johnny Grissom from the 6th film I saw does have this problem and it’s one of my personal favorite scenes.
