Now my favourite dishes are obviously signature parts of their menu but everything is prepared so perfectly that only perfection would do otherwise – don’t .

A great day in Osaka could be as simple as kayaking or paddleboarding your way down a lake or out to sea. To truly enjoy the city it’s important to leave and explore areas beyond, making an outing into the area that lies directly across from where you live. One of my favourite ways of exploring places is through food- and some of my favourite foods are inspired by or native to the places I travel too.
And so Osaka reminded me of Japan; it was a European style city filled with all kinds of delicious foods including sushi, tempura and home cooking! One thing that really stood out as memorable were their breakfast things like okonomiyaki…

This was a short but fun little book for the most part. The layout and graphics make it easy to follow, perhaps even stimulating your thinking about what there is out in Japan or just highlighting places that you should stop by when visiting this incredible nation!
