The Main Plot of the Movie Immortals
Immortals is a show set in the mythical world of Akhia, where men can live hundreds of years and never get sick or tired. They are also immortal.
Men have been forbidden to hunt down other immortals as this has brought chaos into Egypt’s society and turned these heroes into outlaws.
Akhia is a land of many gods, with powerful magical beings existing everywhere. You can even call upon supernatural forces to help you in battle or just for quick revenge on people who’ve wronged you. Akhia exists as an island floating high into the sky separating it from the rest of the known world.
Ahmanet is a very street-wise woman who lived in Egypt for many years, working as an assassin for various crime lords.
She was framed when Kurse became obsessed with her and she was starving for power, believing that the director of a cult also worked for Kurse whilst being his lover.
However, when he has discovered this along with other conspiracies around Ahmanet’s death, it becomes clear that there is an organization behind all these events that want to conquer.
The Climax of the Movie Immortals
Modern Egypt appears to be a blend of ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Islamic beliefs. The “Kingdom” is not really depicted in the movie as an entire country, but rather appears more like part of it.
It has parallels with real Egyptian geography such as the Nile River Valley section and some parts of the Black Sands Oasis. The Kalabsha region is a fictionalized version of what would have been known as ancient “Thebes”.
In real life, Ancient Egypt managed to survive prosperity and collapse within several dynasties with different pharaohs taking control during this time period, before the actual one that is mentioned in the movie, “Kingdom Um Ti Merennefer”, finally came to power.
The transition from the New Kingdom’s rule to Amun Ra never really took place and when it did another pharaoh becomes Pharaoh of Egypt (Amenhotep IV) because that is the actual order of events in real history.
Whilst there were never dinosaurs, they made an appearance in the film with Akhia’s staff being one such adaptation of a dinosaur bone and Ahmanet searching out bones without thinking twice about it as if she was finding ”
The Story Behind the Movie Immortals
The film is inspired by Greek mythology. The storytelling follows the journey of mortals to immortals who are brought together as “the chosen” to battle an evil that threatens mankind.
The original idea for the movie “Immortals” came from Arrowstorm Entertainment (now known as Arkane Studios) and was originally a game before being converted into text.
The short story that inspired it, created by Lian Hearn is set in Egypt 2000 years prior to when the movie takes place.
As the story developed, the setting was moved further and further back in time until it settled on the 12th Dynasty between 1900 BC–1950 AD.
The main idea behind why they chose that era is because of a number of historic kings during these times whose names are preserved as we have them today.
The short story also focuses on the hieroglyphs and what they mean to the people in that time which added another cool dimension to their historical fiction movie script ideas.
There are several steps involved with making any film, this is no different just with the time frame it takes to put the screenplay in writing, write and rewrite then through editing, casting then finally shooting.
Movie Cast and Characters
Despite the movie being set in ancient Egypt, there are many modern characters from the game. “Immortals”:

Audience Analysis
There was no doubt that every part of the film had an impact on its audience because it showed them female power and passionate individuals who are highly motivated into extreme actions while trying to defeat their goal no matter the consequences they might face.
Elements of the movie like mythology, action, and drama attracted the audience. It is a film they would be loving to watch again and that too around the November- December period when it was released in theaters.
It also supported women in the middle-aged age group who were looking for an entertainer like the film. Surprisingly, it gave a good following to teenage girls as well who loved the movie and felt entertained at the same time.
Critic’s Analysis
Critics felt that the storyline and cinematography were the main highlights of the film. They also said it was entertaining to watch for a few minutes again and again as well.
Athena is an interesting character who fights her own battle in several senses against gods, other supernatural beings, spirits of vengeance, the undead, and even against a shape-shifting monster.
As the title suggests, we get to understand that Athena is immortal and extremely powerful because of her inborn nature alone but also through learning from her surroundings (House of Hades).

The sound effects surrounding the viewer’s ear that make certain scenes at or on the edge is really surprising; this movie continues to surprise its audience with what it has in store for them.

The person whom the entire movie was supposed to be a ghost is done by Bill Murray and is the film’s main star alongside Dan Aykroyd at first. As for those who aren’t familiar with the people in this particular film, here are some other actors from the new.
Alex Baldwin who acts as Garry, one of the new Ghostbusters busters; Bill Murray also appears at first, but a subtle character until much later into the film. He does not have any lines for this film and is an invisible man, again fulfilling his role from the First three films.
