Campanella wrote the script after being inspired by true events of the 1980s in Argentina involving the murder of an investigative journalist for her investigation into child abuse. The story follows three women who discover that their childhood friend was involved in the crime.
As a result of what they uncover, each one must confront her own personal demons.
