His name is WALL-E, since the main conflict of his life revolves around items that get stuck in said wall outlets due to his small size having been created by humans prior making other robots like himself purposely short so as not allow garbage from their hands.

WALL-E Storyline
In the not-so-distant future, an advanced civilization of humans has left Earth and housing their populations in a space faring vessel called the “Axiom”. The people who used to live on Earth were still intelligent enough for basic needs but now are limited in skill set due to remaining on automated care systems.
The most notable human reference character is EVE (Energy-Vital Environment), WALL-E’s babysitter being Eve from Greek mythology.
The story also makes references to pet owners as WALL-E can be seen caring for a small plant/pet of sorts. The “Axiom” is the last known habitat of humans, their mission: one manned by a paraplegic who on some level serves as the conscience and caretaker for those within (such being responsible in picking up after his dog).
During my research I have found that the writer was inspired by Mary Popp ins, Finnegan’s Wake and his own little boy. For example: WALL-E’s drawing looks like that of a maestro with music next to him which is aligned in the exact same direction as Mary Poppins’ foot under a piano (It makes no sense why anyone would draw something so weird).

While he has been directed by humans who are invisible but still assuring that his purpose be served from their tender loving care, he represents the Earth itself as it harbors men and women who are most capable of finding themselves again. History: In the beginning, Planet Earth had been very much like a second home to humans (they were even referred to as “Humans” throughout some movies), but suddenly got silent without warning when those inhabitants deserted their city called “O2co”. The science fiction tales basically all downplayed this event by saying that people abandoned.
Some of WALL-E was modeled from the Earth -specifically, a place called Rotterdam, in Holland that has gone through extreme industrialization and pollution. It’s basically inhabited by humans trapped inside containers so they can go about their lives but still have everything at hand because engineers are surrounding them on every side to take care of things on automatic and technology is serving as the bottom layer keeping people safe (It looks similar to an Egyptian pyramid in that way).

What WALL-E represents is the conscientious caretaker of machines. He’s also humanity’s conscience, as he constantly reminds us not to abuse our environment and take from nature without giving back (similar to what the Earth does for humans).
WALL-E is a robot made by the humanlike beings that helps humans in need of cleaning. He cleans up electrical equipment, kitchens and many places throughout the place where they are living. The movie starts off with WALL-E on his daily run to an abandoned factory area (where “humans” used to live).
In some scenes, he can also be seen disturbing trash cans after throwing one out of his waste chute

A map appears onscreen (in astronaut-like fashion) with WALL-E’s location shown as a blue dot, though after most of his wife leaves for him, he is seen in several other locations throughout the place us humans call home before returning to his routine each day at noon.

It was voted the fifth favorite animated film on a survey conducted by “Slant Magazine” and also ranked #93 in IGN’s top 100 sci-fi movies.
