This is a story of redemption and wronged. It an emotional drama with magnificent performances by all actors, although it’s not often that the right acting choice can move one to tears (Bram Stoker’s Dracula being another classic case in point.) Unique Themes

The story revolves around two wrongly accused men and the main protagonist Red near his redemption. The film is based on a novella by Stephen Kings that’s over twenty years old, but still has essential elements to make it work as both an emotional drama or straight-forward thriller. It evokes another directorial interpretation than the usual made in Hollywood .

Male lead performance

Both Tim Robbins as Andy Dufresne (the protagonist) and Morgan Freeman as Ellis Redding were outstanding, although I was torn between them for the first fifteen minutes before deciding on specific candidates:

It was a heartbreaking and painstaking process but on August 25, 2004 the Oscar ceremony hosted by Bob Hope presented Kathryn Bigelow with Best Director for film

Other Oscars being shared among supporting actors includes Tom Hanks, Jim Caviezel, Paul Newman , Bruce Greenwood , James Cromwell & Michael Murphy who played Wardens.

Falling Action

What makes this film a good one is the cast. The four actors portrayed their roles and acted very well which meant that you can’t miss out on anyone else’s performance. All the characters were created so well that in tone, emotions and mannerism they all portrayed exactly as how it was supposed to be .

In the interview conducted by Director Frank Darabont , he stated that Shawshank is a film for whatever it means. 1.How Did the Movie End Up Being Different From the Book?

Ans: You will come across a huge difference in the book and movie. In both of them, Dufresne dies at the end but there is more time that was cut out from it which later helped make up for its different ending tune with Andy being older and now living on his own without regrets such as thinking he did anything wrong .

2.Which One Is Better: Stephen King Or Frank Darabont?

Ans: Both of them are very good writers, they have written other wonderful works such as The Green Mile and Without a Paddle respectively. However You will find that Stephen King has been in the spotlight much than Frank Darabont who is also famous for writing ‘The Shawshank Redemption’.

3.Is There A Scene In the Movie That Was Left Out Of the Book?

Ans: Yes the very end of it. It’s from like 20 minutes to 50 something minutes into the short version and this is where Andy takes his boat out always in hopes that he’ll find another con on a nearby island, escape there even if for only an hour or two before someone shows up with their sawsaws at them , him but as fate would have it none did respect his life so he was left alone with no chance one last time.

4.What Happened To the Guy In the Shawshank Redemption Who Played Andy Dufresne?

Ans: He went on and became a successful actor playing parts such as bit roles in Buffy twice , one of them for almost becoming killed off because of fear ratings that aired shortly after it was announced . He also portrayed Will Payne, leader of ‘The Blackfoots’ from 2005’s Stagecoach.
